July 28, 2008Rhonda Foster was interviewed by ABC27 News Reporter Cara Moore, regarding Susquehanna Township baseball catcher, Kyle Hollingsworth's, episode of Commotio Cordis. (Please see Take It To Heart website "Heart Problems" for more information on Commotio Cordis and the link regarding the ineffectiveness of commercially available baseball and lacrosse chest wall protectors to protect youth from sudden cardiac arrest that are currently on the market).

During the Keystone State baseball game at Central York High School on July 25, 2008, Kyle was struck with a foul ball in the chest and collapsed seconds later. No vital signs could be detected, so on-site officials started CPR. Luckily, an AED (automated external defibrillator) was readily available on site and was used to restart his heart. Kyle was hospitalized over the weekend and returned home feeling fine.

Central York High School is in one of the school districts that, at the request of one of their school nurses, Take It To Heart members and the Nicholas Ryan Over Foundation did a presentation for in 2007, to encourage the CYSD School Board Members to purchase several AEDs for their school district. The CYSD Board Members purchased 9 AEDs after our presentation.
